The Urban Arboretum
The Urban Arboretum, maintained by Amazon Horticulture, provides Amazonians and community members a connection to nature in the center of Seattle's urban core. As you walk through Amazon's Puget Sound headquarters, we invite you to experience this urban botanical garden, which reflects the diverse plant palette represented within The Spheres.
re:Invent Stairway
Complementing the water fountain, plantings on the hill celebrate the flora of Asia with a diverse collection of woodland plants. Many of the plants visible here were propagated from wild collections and curated by botanical partners.
Many of these plants are rare both in cultivation and in the wild, where native populations are at risk due to human impact. Responsibly propagating these plants can contribute to ex-situ conservation efforts in botanical gardens or even in your own home garden.
