The Urban Arboretum
The Urban Arboretum, maintained by Amazon Horticulture, provides Amazonians and community members a connection to nature in the center of Seattle's urban core. As you walk through Amazon's Puget Sound headquarters, we invite you to experience this urban botanical garden, which reflects the diverse plant palette represented within The Spheres.
Bell Street
An incredible advantage of Amazon’s Urban Arboretum is its place within Seattle’s downtown core. Look northeast and you can see historic Denny Park. Look southwest and you might catch a glimpse of the Puget Sound. Look northwest and you can view the iconic Seattle Space Needle. See all that this urban ecosystem has to offer by utilizing Seattle’s bike network, which passes right through the Amazon's headquarters in South Lake Union.
What to see along Bell Street
In South Lake Union, you're never far from an incredible view. Be sure to look to the left as you walk down Bell Street for an amazing look at the Space Needle!
The landscape along Bell Street contains a variety of species. These include evergreen plants, which stay green and functional all year long, and deciduous plants, which lose their foliage in the colder months.
